Preah Levear

Preah Levear has the best options for guest houses near the wedding. At the moment it only takes about 10 minutes to drive from there to Ba Srae (the village where the wedding will take place). This road has not yet been tar-sealed so it’s condition may deteriorate with the pending wet season – not sure though.

Borey Soriya

  1. Quite nice. More established than the other one in Preah Levear
  2. A little out of Preah Levear town – but not much

Angkor Borey

There is only 1 guest house that we could find in Angkor Borey. Angkor Borey is more difficult to get to from the wedding village at the moment because they are fixing the road. By the time of the wedding it should be in a similar state to the road to Preah Levear and the same distance. Angkot Borei is certainly a lot more vibrant and adventurous than Preah Levear and a more auspicious type of place.

In fact I would recommend Preah Levear for staying and Angkor Borey for visiting.
